In these pages, “we” and “us” mean the seller above, and “you” means the person buying or receiving the kit.

Terms of sale

1. What you are buying

The Star Map Kit is a digital product: six PDF guides that teach you to read a birth chart (300+ pages in total, including printable pages). The guides are written in English, and some of the website’s languages also have a translated edition. If you buy while the website is set to a language that has one, you receive that edition; otherwise you receive the English guides. A translated website page on its own does not mean the guides are translated.

2. Price and payment

The price is shown on the website and again at checkout before you pay. It is a one-time payment — there is no subscription and nothing renews. For customers in the European Union, prices include VAT. Where sales tax or VAT has to be added for your location, it is shown at checkout before you confirm.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Depending on your device and country you can pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your payment details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

3. Your order and delivery

Your contract with us is concluded when your payment is confirmed. We then send the guides immediately by email, as personal download links, to the email address you entered at checkout. The links work for 12 months; you can request fresh links at any time on our “Lost your email?” page.

If you buy the kit as a gift, we email it to the person you name on the date you choose (today or up to 30 days ahead), together with your note. Please make sure their email address is correct.

4. Your right of withdrawal (EU/EEA and UK consumers)

As a consumer you have 14 days from your purchase to withdraw from it. To do so, just email us at support@starmapkit.com (or reply to your order email) and we refund the full price within 7 business days.

This does not affect our voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee described under Refunds, which is more generous and applies to everyone.

5. How you may use the guides

You may download, read and print the guides for your own personal use, and use them on all your own devices. The guides are protected by copyright. Please don’t resell, share publicly, upload or distribute them. If someone else would find them useful, the gift option is the way to share.

6. Entertainment and self-reflection

The guides explain astrology as a tool for entertainment and self-reflection. They do not predict events or guarantee any outcome in love, health, money or anything else. They are not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice and do not replace a qualified professional. If you are going through a difficult time, please contact a professional or someone you trust. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

7. If something goes wrong

If a file doesn’t open, a link doesn’t work or the product is not as described, email us and we will fix it, send it again or refund you. Your statutory rights as a consumer — including your rights if digital content is faulty — always apply and are not limited by these terms.

We are responsible for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for anything else for which liability cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid.

8. Applicable law and complaints

These terms are governed by the law of the country where the seller is registered. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first with any complaint — most things are solved by email within a couple of days. You may also contact the consumer protection authority or an alternative dispute resolution body in your country.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown when you placed your order applies to that order.

Refunds — our 30-day guarantee

If within 30 days of your purchase you don’t feel you understand your chart better, we’ll refund the full price. No forms and no need to explain.

How to ask for a refund

• Email support@starmapkit.com — or simply reply to your order email — within 30 days of purchase.
• Use the email address you bought with, or include your order number (it starts with “SM-”).
• We refund the full amount to your original payment method within 7 business days of your request. Your bank may need a few extra days to show it on your statement.

Gifts

For a gift, the refund goes to the person who paid. The recipient can contact us too and we will sort it out with the buyer.

Payment problems

If you were charged twice or see a charge you don’t recognise, email us before contacting your bank — we will check it straight away.

Privacy policy

We collect as little as possible, and only what we need to sell you the kit, deliver it and help you. The seller named under Who we are is the data controller.

What we collect and why

• Order details — your email address, name, country, the billing address if one is asked for at checkout, what you bought, the amount, the currency, the date and your website language. We need these to deliver the guides, answer your questions, handle refunds and keep the accounting records the law requires (legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation).
• Payment details — entered directly with Stripe. We receive only limited information such as the card brand and the last four digits, never the full card number.
• Gift details — if you send the kit as a gift: the recipient’s first name and email address, the delivery date and your note. We use them only to deliver the gift on that date.
• Free cheat sheet — if you ask for the free Big Three cheat sheet: your email address and, only if you fill them in, your first name and your birthday (we keep only the month and day), plus whether you’re new to astrology, your website language and which page or ad you came from. We use your email address to send you the cheat sheet. If you give your birthday, we keep these details to send you two short emails around it each year — one a week before and one on the day — and nothing else (legal basis: your consent). Every one of those emails has a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes your details. If you don’t give a birthday, we don’t keep anything after sending the cheat sheet.
• Emails you send us — kept so we can help you.
• One feedback email — about 10 days after your purchase we send one short email asking how the kit is working for you. It is the only follow-up we send after a purchase — no newsletters, no ads. If you’d rather not receive it, reply to your order email and we’ll cancel it (legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the product; you can object at any time).
• Technical data — like any website, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request data to deliver the pages securely and protect them from abuse. We use your approximate country to show the right currency.

Cookies and similar technologies

The website stores your chosen language in your browser so it remembers it next time, and — for the current visit only — whether you’ve already seen the cheat-sheet pop-up. The Stripe payment form uses cookies that are needed to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

Meta pixel (ad measurement). We use the Meta pixel from Meta Platforms to see which of our ads lead to visits and purchases. It sets cookies and sends Meta information about the pages you visit on this site. When you buy, we also tell Meta about the purchase (amount, currency, your country and a hashed — scrambled — version of your email address) so it can match the purchase to an ad you saw. In the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Turkey, none of this happens unless you click “Allow” in the banner (legal basis: your consent). Elsewhere it runs by default (legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring our ads). You can change your choice at any time: change my cookie choice.

We don’t use analytics cookies.

Who processes your data for us

• Stripe — payments and fraud prevention.
• Cloudflare — website hosting, order records, cheat-sheet sign-ups and secure file storage.
• Resend — sending the order, gift, feedback, cheat-sheet and birthday emails.
• Google Workspace — our support mailbox.
• Meta Platforms — measuring our Facebook and Instagram ads (see Cookies above; in the EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland and Turkey only with your consent).

These providers act on our instructions. Some of them process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the United States; where they do, the transfer is protected by safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (in many countries up to 10 years). Support emails are deleted when they are no longer needed, usually within 2 years. Gift details are kept with the order record. Cheat-sheet sign-ups with a birthday are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it (unless we must keep it by law), to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Just email support@starmapkit.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example in the country where you live.

Children

The kit is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
